Questions worth asking

Is there a lock-in contract?

No. Both plans run a month at a time — cancel whenever you like and you stop paying at the end of that month. There is nothing to sign, no minimum term, and no exit fee.

Do you take a commission on my sales?

Never. You keep every cent of every order, whether it comes through the POS, your ordering site, or a QR code on the table. Your card processing is a separate arrangement between you and ANZ Worldline or Windcave, and their rates are theirs, not mine.

What will I actually pay a month?

Basic is $79 a month and Pro is $139 a month, billed monthly. Extra iPad POS licences on Pro are $30 a month each. That is the whole list — no setup fee, and no commission on anything you sell.

Do I have to buy hardware from you?

No. Use the iPad you already own. You will need a USB receipt printer; the Epson TM-M30III is what I build against and there is a full supported hardware list on the site. Buy it once and it stays yours.

Can I keep my own bank or payment provider?

Yes. Online payments run through ANZ Worldline in Australia and Windcave everywhere else, and you hold the merchant account. At the counter, both plans work with a terminal from any bank — on Basic your staff key the total in, and on Pro the terminal can take it from the POS directly.

What's the difference between non-integrated and integrated EFTPOS?

With non-integrated EFTPOS, your staff read the total off the POS and key it into the terminal by hand. That is what Basic covers, and it works with a terminal from any bank. With integrated EFTPOS, the POS sends the amount across itself — no key-in, no typos, and the takings reconcile at the end of the day. That is a Pro feature.

Do I get my own web address for online ordering?

Both plans include an ordering site. It comes with a free address like yourcafe.tripleshot.site, and on either plan you can point your own domain at it instead.

Can I start on Basic and move to Pro later?

Yes. Email hello@tripleshot.com and I will move you across — you do not need to set anything up again. Most venues start on Basic and move to Pro when they put a second iPad on the counter or start sending dockets to the kitchen.

Is support included?

Yes, on both plans, at no extra cost. You get a real person rather than a ticket queue, because for the most part that person is me.
